REGIONAL TOUR

Throughout our touring history, Royal MTC has brought a variety of professional theatre productions to rural communities.  Selected productions over the decades include The Fantasticks(1965/66), The Promise (1972/73), Billy Bishop Goes to War (1981/1982), The Glass Menagerie (1989/90), Transit of Venus (1995/96), The Drawer Boy (2000/01), Tempting Providence (2009/10), Miracle on South Division Street (2013/14) and Armstrong's War (2014/15). 

Royal MTC is pleased to present Arlene Hutton's Last Train to Nibroc as the 2017 Regional Tour, January 30 to March 4, 2017.


SYNOPSIS 

In this charming romantic comedy set in 1940, a dashing pilot falls for a prim young missionary-to-be on a train bound for New York, and decides to follow her home to Kentucky, changing both their lives forever.

The Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival is North America's second-largest. The Fringe Festival in held in Winnipeg's historic Exchange District.
The Black & White Ball is an annual event put on by the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre to celebrate live theatre and raise funds. Guests enjoy an extravagant evening of dinner and dancing in The Fort Garry Hotel's Grand Ballroom.
Since 1990, members of the MBA have volunteered thousands of billable hours for the Lawyers Play (formerly known as the Community Play). In the process, these talented lawyers and judges have raised over $850,000 for MTC programming.
The Master Playwright Festival provides opportunities for both professional and emerging artists from a variety of organizations and independent companies to produce work under the umbrella of a larger festival.
